Ordered Course

Investing in service-based businesses and real estate in Texas

PURSUING TEAM VICTORIES
with dedicated role players

Ordered Course is a privately held investment firm focused on acquiring and operating service-based businesses and real estate assets in Texas.

We build and support teams with servant leaders who gain and hold trust through the pillars of transparency, vulnerability, and authenticity. From the least to the greatest, each member holds the trophies upon victory and is celebrated for his/her contribution. Each member is highly valued, starting with an above-average total compensation package for individual and team results. If we care deeply for our team, then we can deliver unmatched service to our customers.
With a mindset to keep moving the chains through unified, patient, and team-focused execution, we are persuaded that a disciplined commitment to systems and processes pays dividends. As a unit, we strive to obtain 3 to 4 yards per carry as we march toward the goal line. We do not rely on fluff, fancy plays, or throwing the Hail Mary. We employ basic fundamentals and aim for excellence in the small yet shockingly critical details as we execute with our teams and for our customers.

Chris is a Managing Partner of Ordered Course. Chris is focused on building and retaining a culture of servant leadership and generosity, strategic execution, capital formation, and delivering “in-the-trenches” operational leadership through service and sacrifice.

Prior to launching Ordered Course, Chris founded and led CityTop Roofing, a commercial roofing, sheet metal, and waterproofing company and CityTop Cleaning, providing kitchen exhaust cleaning services. Before CityTop, he worked alongside the President and Vice President of Nuverra Environmental Solutions in a Financial Planning and Analysis role, spearheading operational and capital budgets for five business units that generated $330MM+ in annual revenue and supporting capital construction and renovation projects in excess of $200MM. Prior to Nuverra, he co-founded a company and raised private capital for the acquisition, renovation, and disposition of single-family homes in the aftermath of the 2007-2009 subprime mortgage crisis. Chris holds a B.B.A. in Finance from Texas A&M, with honors.

Chris was raised by a single mother. His parents separated at age 6. At age 19, he reconciled with his father (who spent many years in prison), and they now have a healthy, restored relationship. For his entire childhood and youth, Chris’ family was the beneficiary of a section 8 HUD housing voucher and every form of available public welfare. At age 16 and after his mother was diagnosed with colon cancer, Chris started his first business, providing pressure washing services. He graduated Valedictorian of his high school class and was an all-state high school basketball player.

Chris is married to his wife, Chandra, and they have three daughters.
